History + Vision

From the visionaries behind the Cordelle comes SAINT ELLE, a captivating 8,000 square foot Event Venue inspired by the luxury trains of the N, C & St.L railroad. Named after this historic railway that traversed from Chicago to Atlanta, we pay homage to the exemplary service and lavish amenities it provided in the 1950s.

SAINT ELLE artfully blends MODERN SOPHISTICATION with the charm of HISTORIC ARCHITECTURE. Natural light fills the space, accentuating the fresh, CONTEMPORARY DESIGN elements that harmoniously complement its heritage. The thoughtfully planned one-level floor plan facilitates a seamless flow for vendors, planners, and clients alike, ensuring an EFFORTLESS EVENT EXPERIENCE.

IT All Started with

The Cordelle opened its historic, arched doorway in 2014, under the stewardship of creative entrepreneurs Leigh Watson, Chandra Watson and Nealy Glenn. The long time friends shared a vision for creating the perfect Downtown Nashville event venue. After acquiring and renovating the late-1800s property in SoBro, The Cordelle team launched with a specific intent: to offer clients an elegant, intimate and inviting space for Weddings, Filming Locations, Corporate Meetings, Photo shoots and other Special Events.

The Cordelle, with Downtown Nashville’s Largest Private Green Space, offers a unique blend of old and new, designed to seamlessly accommodate events of all shapes and sizes. The space is perfectly located blocks from Broadway’s bustling energy and the countless hotels throughout Downtown.
